What do you do in your role?
As Housing Tiwhana for Taupo I assist Taupo based whanau with emergency housing.
In this role I work with whanau to set up a holistic plan and problem solve barriers one step at a time. Together we identify services required to help secure suitable and stable housing.
What do you like about your role?
I enjoy engaging with whanau in our community and assisting them wherever I can in order to help.
It is truly rewarding to see whanau succeed and actively move forward towards their goals.

I have been with Tuwhartoa Health since November 2021
What made you choose to work in hauora?
It was my genuine aroha for our whanau in Tuwharetoa that motivated me to work in hauora.
