What do you do in your role?
As the Turangi Hub Coordinator I am the first point of contact for whanau. This means that I answer phones, check and respond to emails received in the generic organisational inbox, and I process client enrolments and referrals.
I also provide administration support to all our kaimahi – ensuring that they have the resources required to deliver their services as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Furthermore, I this role I assist with the administrative functions of Home-Based
I like the day-to-day variety that comes with the role, and I also enjoy learning and perfecting new skills.

What made you choose to work in hauora?
Ultimately I like helping people and working in hauora enabled that.
This particular role was a good opportunity for me. I had been offered it previously, but the timing was not right. This time I felt that I should accept it.
I have been grateful for the opportunities to upskill myself, and also the challenges that promote professional development.
