What do you do in your role?
I am a Whanau Ora Tiwhana. I support Whanau with their goals and aspirations, in areas such as health, education, housing, employment, improved standards of living and cultural identity. using a whanau-centred approach. Building on the strengths and capabilities of whanau by wrapping the necessary services and support around them to get better outcomes and create positive changes.
What do you like about your role?
Meeting the different whanau. Being able to help the whanau reach their goals and aspirations and seeing them build confidence, mana and belief in self, family, and community.
