What do you do in your role?
I am the Awhi House coordinator, our hapu mama and parenting hub. Here we support our community through the pregnancy up to the tamariki are 5 years old, we organise events, parenting courses, coffee groups and provide drop in clinics. We also support services within the community, connecting them to whanau and other services.
What do you like about your role?
The best part about my job is, watching wahine and tane grow into parenthood with confidence, love and support.

I have worked with Tuwharetoa Health since June 2019.
What made you choose to work in hauora?
Transitioning into hauora has been an extension of my community engagement as a parent.
